On-Site Car Key Replacement by Make and Model
Every automaker uses its own key technology, and our technicians are trained across a wide range of brands. For Toyota and Lexus vehicles, we cut and program G-chip and H-chip transponder keys as well as smart proximity fobs. For Ford and Lincoln models, we handle PATS transponder keys and Intelligent Access remotes. GM vehicles — Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac — often use 46 and 47-series transponder chips along with proximity fobs, all of which we program on-site. Honda and Acura keys frequently require immobilizer synchronization in addition to blade cutting, and we carry the tooling to do exactly that. For Nissan and Infiniti owners, we work with both ID46 and ID47 chip keys. European brands including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Volkswagen use encrypted rolling-code key systems that demand a higher level of programming sophistication — our experienced team is equipped for those jobs too.
Older vehicles with a simple mechanical key and no transponder chip are the most straightforward replacements: we cut a new blade from your VIN or from a code pull at the vehicle. Transponder keys add a chip-programming step that must be completed for the engine immobilizer to recognize the new key. Push-to-start smart keys and proximity fobs go a step further, requiring two-way radio frequency pairing in addition to immobilizer programming. In every case, we aim to complete the job without disassembling any vehicle components — damage-free where the technology allows — and we confirm an exact, up-front quote before any work begins so there are no surprises on the bill.
